Geocoding via Google Maps 1.1 Python script

Geocoding via Google Maps script extracts latitude/longitude coordinates from a XML file. This is simple script written as an experiment in geocoding addresses in a database. An address such as "100 Any Street, Anytown, CA, 10010" is passed to a Google Maps URL, and the latitude/longitude coordinates are extracted from the returned XML. XML methods are not used in this script, but simple string searches instead.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
